At Shrirang Shikshan Mahavidyalay, Bilimora, every student teacher is expected to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, mutual respect, and social responsibility. The College believes that professional ethics and exemplary conduct are the foundation of an effective teacher. Accordingly, every student teacher shall:
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in all academic, practical, internship, and co-curricular activities as prescribed by the College and the University.
Fulfil the minimum attendance requirement prescribed by the University to be eligible for the University examinations.
Obtain prior permission for leave, except in cases of emergency, and submit a leave application with a valid reason.
Attend all theory classes, practice teaching, school internships, and field engagement programmes sincerely and follow the rules of the respective practice teaching schools.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in advance and obtain approval from the concerned teacher educator before delivering practice lessons.
Complete assignments, projects, lesson plans, practical work, and all other academic responsibilities within the prescribed time.
Maintain honesty, dignity, discipline, and professional ethics both on and off the campus.
Respect the Principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff, fellow students, school authorities, and all stakeholders associated with the institution.
Preserve and protect the College property, library resources, laboratories, ICT facilities, and the campus environment.
Promote harmony, inclusiveness, gender sensitivity, and mutual respect in all interactions.
Use digital technologies, social media, and institutional resources responsibly and ethically.
Participate actively in community engagement, extension activities, educational tours, seminars, workshops, cultural programmes, environmental initiatives, and other institutional activities that contribute to holistic development.
Abide by the rules governing the Student Council and conduct oneself responsibly during student elections and other institutional activities.
Refrain from ragging, discrimination, harassment, bullying, violence, unfair practices, or any activity that brings disrepute to the institution or is against the interest of society and the nation.
Adhere to the rules and regulations of the College, the University, and statutory authorities. In matters relating to discipline and institutional regulations, the decision of the Principal shall be final and binding.
